Jenny Donaire
Born in the mountainous town of San Marcos, Nicaragua, Jenny's journey to Los Angeles as a young adolescent profoundly shaped her perspective on architecture and art. The stark contrast between these environments ignited her passion for understanding how built spaces influence human experience.
Jenny's academic pursuit reflects her dedication to both the practical and theoretical aspects of architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University, a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, and a Master's in Architectural Design, Theory, and Pedagogy from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
As the founder of Estudio 09, Jenny brings her diverse background to residential design projects. With nine years of independent practice, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the architectural process—skillfully guiding projects from initial concept through construction. Her ability to effectively communicate with owners, contractors, and city officials ensures seamless project execution at every stage.
Beyond the studio, Jenny explores her creative vision through art appreciation and photography, often accompanied by her son and daughter—allowing her professional passion to blend naturally with family life.
