Jenny Donaire

Architect - Estudio 09

Jenny was born in the small, mountainous town of San Marcos in Nicaragua. She relocated to Los Angeles as an adolescent. The dramatic change in scenery sparked her interest in the built world and art, as a vehicle for understanding it. After obtaining a B.Arch. from Woodbury University and a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, she established Estudio 09, where she focuses her skills on residential design. Independently designing and managing a wide range of projects over the past 8 years, Jenny has a strong understanding of the architectural design process and is able to move a project successfully from its conceptual stages through design development, permitting, and construction by effectively communicating with owners, contractors and city officials.

Jenny also holds a Masters in Architectural Design, Theory, and Pedagogy from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.

She likes to spend her time away from the studio looking at art and photographing with her son and daughter.
